On your marks, get set... LOVE!!!
Hey Sisturr!
I'm so excited to have you back! So sorry this is coming quite late.
January has come and gone!
It was a rollercoaster, and trust me… I had a foretaste of the 300 days in January 😂
From trying to balance my personal life with work and many other tiny fragments of my life… Trust me, it was so difficult to stay sane.
How well did I smash my January goals?
Well, not quite much.
I have been unable to show up on my socials - LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram - as many times as I said I would.
Just one thing was quite successful - the Figure-8 Connect IG page.
I was able to consistently add new fliers to the page to keep you ladies inspired every day in the month of January.
One other thing I have succeeded in was - my LinkedIn Optimization Class.
Yes! I didn't get the 25 participants I had wanted for the class
But somehow, we had 4 zealous students sign up and for the first session, they had a great time.
Another thing I failed in this January is -
I was unable to reach money target of at least $500 a month😢
Well, I tried. I got a little above $200.
Asides from that, I failed at being able to drop weekly bangers on my Medium page.
Mehn!
I dropped one banger on the 9th of January tagged 'How Toxic Feminism Almost ruined me' and since then I've received tons of gbas-gbos.
Of course, what did I expect?
Did I expect to put up such a controversial article and expect people to clap for me?
No.
There was a strong urge to pull the article down after a week because of the unwelcoming comments.
But when I checked the number of views, I decided it was going to stay a little longer.
Before I finally pulled it down.
My article caused a very heated conversation in my community (Figure-8 Connect).
Well, well, well…
That's in the past now, I guess.
People commented about how my boyfriend had guilt-tripped me into not being a "toxic feminist" anymore… How I was on the verge of ruining my life by sticking to him.
Man!
Lots of unwelcoming comments I must say.
But, we meuuve 😎
Somewhere along this month, I had conversations with friends who told me how I was good at talking about relationships.
Bikonu, it's not me nau!
Good News
This month, whether or not I'm good with the relationship thing, it's a necessary evil.
It's a conversation women between the age of 18 to 35 always love to talk about.
Be they boyfriends, fiances, or husbands, girls just like to talk about boys!
I can't do this alone o
I'll be bringing my friend since 2018, who is a badass relationship and marriage counselors
Actually, one of the best that I know!
A father, a husband, and someone admired by lots of female acquaintances!
Because ehn, this guy dey burst brain!
Yes, I know it's valentine again
And on the 14th of February, you'll probably be sitting at home lonely 😕
You'll wear a big polo and hair bonnet, lie on your bed and keep scrolling on your phone all day shouting - GOD WHEN?
Mr. Bright and I would be teaching you "How to make 'God When?' your reality" in this year 2022.
See ehn… Na better soap we wan for you like this!
What kind of goals should a man and woman in love be setting together?
Financial goals? Communication goals? Intimacy goals?
Omoo ehn
The convo go choke!!!
If you're a lady aged 18 to 35, and not a member of Figure-8 Connect, text GOD WHEN to +234-909-378-1187 and you'll be added to the community ASAP.

As 2022 unfolds, one of the biggest mistakes you don't want to make is not investing in your knowledge.
In the spirit of love and cutting soap, I'll be hosting a one-day intensive masterclass for small business owners and people who desire to build a personal brand.
My goal is simple - To take the scales off your eyes in the areas of online marketing and 10X your sales.
I want to see the emergence of new Elon Musks and Alico Dangote, by getting the marketing thing right!
I want to see startups dominate the online space and metamorphose into big multinationals.
Join me next Saturday as we discuss - BRANDING 101.

Special People…
I want to use this opportunity to celebrate two amazing women in my life, whose birthdays were the 8th and 9th of February, respectively - my mum and Henrietta Awonongoala.
I’m wishing you both all the best life has to offer!
My Parting Words…
And because it’s February, popularly known as the month of love, I want you to love!
Love unashamedly and unrestrained!
Love you!
Love what you do.
If you love what you do, you’ll be the best at it.
Love your scars, your mistakes, your flaws.
Make a decision to love people around you better - in your relationships, at work, in the family.
By loving ourselves and the people around us, we’re making the world a better place!
Always remember these words:
Sometimes the "Knight in the shining armor" you're waiting on to save you I'd the woman you see every morning in the mirror, with the messy hair, the big heart and the unexplainable love for herself.
Till the next time I write you,
On your marks, get set… LOVE!!!!
